Performance Physiotherapist (Rugby)

The Physiotherapy Team is an integral part of the Performance Services Team, working across the university's performance programmes to deliver the highest quality support with the aim of ensuring the very best student-athlete experience. In addition to the practical and professional knowledge that is required to implement an efficient and effective physiotherapy service, the candidate will need to be able to engage with our student-athletes to provide them with every opportunity to attain their individual potential.  To excel in this role the candidate will need to adopt a flexible approach to engage with coaches and other support staff in a multi-sport environment.


What you’ll bring 

The Performance Physiotherapist (Rugby) will lead the planning, administration and delivery of a robust physio provision for Cardiff Met RFC Men’s Performance Programme, including a range of services but not limited to; triage, matchday cover, clinic delivery, prehab, injury management, strapping & taping and education sessions. Working within the rugby environment, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of athletes and teams and form part of a multi-disciplinary team with our Strength & Conditioning Team, coaches and other support services.
