            <p id="isPasted">If you&rsquo;re passionate about creating a welcoming and inclusive student community, we have a fantastic opportunity to become a Res Life Student Ambassador to support the delivery of activities and events within our halls of residence.</p><p>Working alongside the Student Transition Coordinator and fellow ambassadors, you will help plan, promote and deliver a range of social activities to enhance the student experience in halls. You will play an important role in helping new students settle into university life, build friendships and engage with the university community.</p><p>The role includes supporting &lsquo;Welcome Week&rsquo; activities and facilitating evening and weekend events throughout the academic year.</p><p>As our Res Life Student Ambassador, you&rsquo;ll also</p><ul><li>Promote Res&nbsp;Life events within Halls via posters/social media&nbsp;etc.</li><li>Work collaboratively with the other Res Life Ambassadors and the Student Transition Coordinator, meeting regularly to organise and plan events. &nbsp;</li><li>Help students settle into halls and make friends.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist&nbsp;in obtaining feedback&nbsp;via&nbsp;QR codes and&nbsp;questionnaires as part of the events.</li><li>Be proactive in consulting students in your halls about ideas for events and using their input to decide on future events.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you&rsquo;ll bring</strong></p><p id="isPasted">As a current Cardiff Metropolitan University student who has previously been, is currently, or is due to be a resident in Cyncoed or Plas Gwyn halls of residence, you&rsquo;ll use your strong communication skills, confidence and empathy to help create engaging events and a supportive environment for students and guests.</p><p>You&rsquo;ll bring a positive, approachable attitude alongside strong organisational skills, enabling you to coordinate activities effectively, adapt to changing needs and respond to challenges with calmness and professionalism.</p><p>Additionally, you&rsquo;ll:</p><ul><li>Have an understanding of responsibilities related to organising and coordinating events.</li><li>Be able to effectively organise and encourage participation in events.</li><li>Demonstrate good written and oral communication skills.</li><li>Be confident and show ability in using social media as a marketing tool.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Why become a Student Ambassador?</strong></p><p>This role is an excellent opportunity to develop leadership, communication and event management skills while making a positive contribution to the student experience and residential community at Cardiff Met.             <p id="isPasted">Join us in helping new students build confidence, develop effective study habits and feel part of their learning community.</p><p>We&#39;re looking for enthusiastic students to become Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) Leaders. As a PASS Leader, you&#39;ll support students who are studying on the foundation programme that you previously completed, helping them to learn collaboratively, strengthen their understanding of course content and develop the skills they need to succeed.</p><p>This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your own leadership, communication and facilitation skills whilst making a positive difference to the student experience.</p><p>As a PASS Leader, you&#39;ll:</p><ul type="disc"><li>Lead weekly, interactive study sessions for up to 15 students enrolled in the foundation course that you have already passed.</li><li>Help students develop effective study skills, improve their understanding of course content and build confidence ahead of assessments.</li><li>Create a welcoming, supportive environment where students feel comfortable sharing ideas and learning together.</li><li>Encourage discussion, participation and collaborative problem-solving, acting as a guide rather than a teacher.             <p id="isPasted">The Cardiff Metropolitan University Brand and Content Team are looking for creative Student Content Creators to create engaging social media content. As one of our Student Content Creators you&rsquo;ll create helpful, informative, and engaging video content to inspire students to study at the University.</p><p>You&rsquo;ll contribute by:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Creating and contributing to social media content, to show prospective students what it is like to live in Cardiff, and study at Cardiff Metropolitan University.&nbsp;</li><li>Pitching and taking on content ideas as directed by various teams within the Marketing, Communications and Student Recruitment department.</li><li>Contributing to the filming and editing of social media short form video content, both in front of and behind the camera.</li><li>Collaborating with other Student Content Creators, as well as staff and students across the University, to create a variety of well informed and engaging content.</li><li>Attending a variety of events on campus and externally to create content and showcase student life as a Cardiff Met brand ambassador.</li><li>Staying up-to-date with social media channels and trends to help inform content planning.</li></ul><p><br></p><p id="isPasted"><strong>What you&rsquo;ll bring</strong></p><p>You&rsquo;ll have a good knowledge of Cardiff Metropolitan University, and student life in the city of Cardiff. You&rsquo;ll have experience of producing creative and engaging social media video content, with an active knowledge of the main social media platforms used by prospective students.</p><p>Alongside you Content Creator skills you&rsquo;ll have an empathy and understanding of the questions prospective students might have when choosing, and coming to, a university, and able to act as a positive and responsible role model. Student Ambassadors work at recruitment events such as Open Days, taster days, and UCAS fairs for Cardiff Metropolitan University.</p><p>The role also involves working in schools and colleges across South Wales to support sessions to inspire students into further study at university with our Student Recruitment and Reaching Wider teams. Teams across the university also use student ambassadors for admin roles periodically throughout the year.</p><p><strong><br>What you&rsquo;ll do &ndash; key duties&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li>Be an active and flexible member of the recruitment/events/widening access teams independently or along with other students and members of staff.</li><li>To take groups of prospective students and their parents on tours around either campus.
