Lead Community Tennis Coach
To help us achieve our sporting ambitions, we’re looking for a Lead Community Tennis Coach to coordinate and deliver the community coaching programme of our award-winning university tennis programme. Your work as our Lead Community Tennis Coach will be key in driving forward our university impact on both the local community as well as the Welsh tennis landscape.
You’ll lead the way
- Through delivering engaging and impactful tennis lessons for children and adults within the local community.
- By ensuring the programme continually grows, looking for the next opportunity to open tennis up, support assistant coaches and expanding the Cardiff Met tennis impact.
- By becoming part of a wider Cardiff Met tennis system, leading the community strand of a large-scale tennis programme.
What you’ll bring
Your experience of coaching and developing tennis, will enable you to grow and deliver an impactful community tennis programme across multiple tennis sites and multiple age groups. With a strong customer focused mindset, you’ll understand the importance of bringing people together through tennis, and how the sport can provide a fun, healthy and enjoyable impact on people’s lives.
You’ll lead a team of assistant coaches, maintaining a high standard of delivery to ensure you can be proud of each and every session.
Your exceptional organisation and interpersonal skills will be key to building a sustainable tennis programme that compliments the wider tennis system.
Additionally you’ll hold
- LTA Tennis Coach (level 3) qualification or higher
- LTA Coach Accreditation+
