Registry Officer (Timetabling, Awards & Graduation)
The Registry Officer (Timetabling, Awards & Graduation) will deliver a professional service across the University providing guidance, expertise and support to all stakeholders to achieve together the best possible timetables for our students. They will support the Graduation process with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience.
We are looking to recruit to:
- 1x Permanent post and 1x Fixed-Term (12 Months) Part-Time post (18.5hrs).
You’ll be:
- Leading, co-ordinating and managing the administration functions of all timetabling requirements ensuring the end-to-end business processes are delivered to target.
- Providing specialist guidance and appropriate technical support on the timetabling software to stakeholders.
- Liaising and networking with Cardiff Met Staff across Academic Schools, Professional Services and External Bodies to promote good relations.
What you’ll bring
You will have significant knowledge and experience of timetabling principles and processes in Higher Education and be an experienced scheduler comfortable working with large and often complex data sets.
Additionally, you’ll:
- Have experience of using databases and ideally timetabling software.
- Be a contributing team player with the ability to use initiative to problem solve.
- Have a keen eye for detail and attention to accuracy.
